Slovak Republic, Officially the Slovak Republic a Central European country, and Bratislava is the Capital of country, the country declared its independence on January 1, 1993 .  Slovakia is a IMO WHITELISTED Country and a member state of the International Maritime Organization (IMO). The Country is member state of IMO  since 1993 . And the same year Maritime Directorate of  Slovak Republic has been formed which is the Maritime Administration Office for regulating , maintaining  and development of Maritime Activities and Seafarers Training and Education.

Slovakia owned Maritime Academy and Approved many others Academies in Different cities of Slovakia to providing Training and certification and also has been authorized Academies in other foreign countries like Greece, Thailand, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Turkey, and Georgia  for providing support for foreign seafarers to get Maritime Education under Slovakia Maritime  Act to obtaining Certificate of Competency , Certificate of Proficiency and Seaman Book in accordance with the Regulation I/2 under the convention of STCW 2010  as amended .

Slovakia is also a open Ship Registry and  Accepting the all types of International ships under its flag by following the easy procedure
